I’m like a magpie when it comes to vintage or vintage style earrings and have a nice little growing collection going on. Nothing that will break the bank of course. As usual I love a mixture of bright colours and I’m also always drawn to clip ons for that ultimate vintage feel. I remember trying on my Mammy’s clip ons growing up so they are filled with nostalgia for me.
Here’s a little selection…The chunky green pair in this shot are a favourite of mine – they are a fab little arrangement of beads and a colour that seem to go with lots of my wardrobe. While not vintage (but new from Accessorize), you will see me wearing the chunky white pair in lots of shots – again another pair that go really well with everything! Their chunky nature are great for balancing my face when wearing a hefty beehive too. Anti-clockwise from there, the round green pair are from Tiger Stores (I know, I was surprised too!), then the small green pair from Accessorize again, the pink pair I picked up in Dublin co-op vintage market and finally the more 80’s pair in cream are a find from Lowney’s antique store in Wexford.
They are displayed on a cute crochet mat found on ebay, the green tray from Tiger Stores, the chair is vintage from a primary school and the wallpaper is Cath Kidston.
