(Ah, there’s me looking all Holy Mary!). As every busy working mother knows, there are days when the promise of some much needed “me time” is all that will keep you ticking on. Whether it’s a bubble bath, a Netflix binge or as is often the case, a little tipple of wine, it’s nice to have a reminder of your preferred reward. Enter the ‘shrine to wine’!

This is a strong feature in my kitchen but was simply assembled. A carpenter attached the shrine to a vintage display cabinet (both found in Oxfam Home on Francis Street, Dublin 8). I decked the back of each out with some pretty fabric by simply staple gunning it onto the unit backs. I found the wine rack section in a salvage yard and it was cut to fit into the shrine perfectly. All hail the shrine to wine!
