This year at Bloom I was invited by Bairbre Power of the Independent Weekend magazine to join her on the Style Stage where she hosted a fabulous fashion show. I rocked a beautiful frock from Dirty Fabulous. Isn’t it amazing?
I felt like a million dollars wearing it and not surprising as it was an original 1960’s dress, designed by Bob Bugnand. He was a French designer who opened a salon in New York in 1957 where he took orders from the society’s elite like The Duchess of Windsor and Jackie Kennedy. The orders were then sent to Paris where the dress was made by his French team and then shipped back to New York for the client within 3 weeks. His dresses retailed in 1957 (in today’s money) for between $2000 & $8000.
Dirty Fabulous sourced it from the States just recently and are selling it for €340. Thanks to Caroline there for allowing me to show it off!
